ACM IMPACT MODIFIER

DESCRIPTION

ACM is patent product, which is a grafted copolymer of light-chlorinated HDPE and acrylate with structure of CPE-grafted-polyacrylate. Compared to CPE, ACM has faster fusion and higher elongation rate at break. Its main function is to enhance the impact strength under low temperature and to promote the fusion property of PVC blend. It can bring the best toughness to PVC products than other PVC additives. Thanks to ACM network structure it provides the highest impact resistance while maintaining high hardness. ACM is an impact modifier which has the basic characteristics of CPE and also has ability of faster fusion, higher rate of elongation at break and a lower glass transition temperature. Its main function is to increase the impact strength at low temperature and setting ability of the PVC compound. ACM provides products made of PVC with superior resistance to impact and it can improve waterproofing of products more than any other additives for PVC. ACM gives a high gloss and easy processing. The strength of the profile involving the ACM is about 30% higher than that involving the CPE. Another advantage of ACM is its dosing. Research in Poland and Germany has confirmed that a very low dosage of mixture allows manufacturers to achieve a high quality product at a low price.
